玻璃珠滅菌器又稱干熱玻璃珠滅菌器，使用快速方便，滅菌器外形緊湊，機身輕，有一個小型底座，而且可以方便地放置在工作臺上。十秒之內(nèi)有效地對小型固體金屬與玻璃器具進行滅菌消毒，玻璃珠可加熱至250°C左右，高效地消滅細菌與孢子，可適用于無菌剪、鑷子、解剖刀、接種環(huán)與接種針等，常見于科研實驗室。
隨機配置一份玻璃珠，玻璃珠直徑在1.5 – 2.0 mm。建議玻璃珠至少3個月更換一次，每隔一周至少清洗一次，取出珠子時一定要等到儀器完全冷卻，取出的珠子用溫和的皂液洗滌，漂洗完畢烘干備下次使用。
